The Corpus Christi 7 Day Film Project (CC7D) has been around since 2007. From its earliest days, its main purpose was to give the local community an annual event to test their skills exercising every creative muscle. The concept was simple: make a film in 7 days using set boundaries (elements) and meet the hard deadline. Over the past 15 years, CC7D has celebrated area filmmakers - both veterans and amateurs, created an avenue for more filmmaking activity in the Coastal Bend, and boosted the skill set and created resume experience for local filmmakers, actors and crew. And we've had a whole lot of fun in the process!
The CC7D organizers also focus on showcasing all films that met the requirements in one butt-numbathon screening day -- with an awards ceremony immediately following the screening. It's a great way to celebrate independent filmmaking in our area!
CC7D is ultimately a celebration of the creative community - and what it takes to make something truly special and unique.
Every one has a movie inside of them. CC7D is your chance to make it happen!
